
Chairperson of the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) announced that the Board is expected to approve and make public this week the 4th national election timetable it has prepared.
Board Chairperson Prof. Merga Bekana told ENA on Monday that political parties have discussed the election timetable on October 24, 2009.

The document on election timetable deals on 32 different processes concerning the elections.
According to the time table, May 23, 2010 is expected to be vote casting day while June 21, 2010 will be the day in which results of the election would be disclosed to the public.
The board further said the document deals on making the 4th national elections fair, democratic and peaceful.
It also depicts on the dates in which political parties select their logos and counting of votes, among others.
