Some 65 political parties, which have been discussing on the election code of conduct and the implementation strategy, have agreed to refer the document to the House of Peoples' Representatives so as to be part of the country’s law.
According to a resolution they passed here on Wednesday, the parties have agreed to refer the document to the house after incorporating their recommendations .
The parties said they have given recommendations to enrich the document.
The parties agreed on the document taking into consideration their responsibilities to build constitutional democracy in the country.
They expressed commitment to ensure democracy, human rights and the rule of the law in the country.
They also expressed commitment towards making the 4th national elections free, fair, democratic and peaceful.
The parties said the relations among different political parties in the country should be based on mutual understanding . The relations among parties should be free from hatred, they noted.
The four-day discussion was held in mutual understanding and tolerance, they said.
The parties have also agreed to work together in line with the document and contribute share in the efforts to address problems in joint councils due to be established at various levels.(ENA)
