Over 860,000 voters registered in 4 zones

Over 860,000 voters have been registered in four zones of different regional states to cast votes in the upcoming national elections, electoral coordination offices of the respective zones said.

According to the offices’ coordinators, the stated number of voters has been registered Finfine Zuria Special and West Shoa Zones of Oromia State, North Shoa Zone of Amhara State and Wolita Zone of South Ethiopia People States over the past ten days.

They said voters were registered in 3533 polling stations established in the zones.

More than 320, 302 of the voters are women, they said.

Over 839, 221 illegible voters are expected to be registered in the two Oromia zones, according to the respective zonal election coordinators.
