Members and leaders of the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) who gave themselves up to the government recently discussed with Oromia State Administration Chief Abadula Gemeda and other senior state government officials.

During the discussion held at the Office of the Oromia State Administarion , Abadula along with the other officials, the former members of the OLF expressed readiness to work with the government clear off the OLF's forces which they said are in disarray.

Former OLF Polit Bureau Member, Military Force Commander and Head of Foreign Affairs and Information ,Lucho Bukura and Front's Deputy Military Commander and Leader of the Southern Zone, Abdetta Besere, Central Committee Member and Zonal Political Head Kanu Jirimo Wako Guyo.

Meanwhile, remnants of OLF who were engaged in subversive activities in some towns Oromia State were caught by security forces and the public, according to Mesfin Asefa, Security Deputy Head and Information and Public Relations Head with the State.

They were put under control along with their arms, documents, radio communication equipment.

Their case is under investigation, Assefa said.

The number of OLF members who gave themselves up to the government has reached now 170.(ENA)
